The Age of the Cathedrals

Written by Marc Prescott

The Age of the Cathedrals is a guided tour with many twists and turns which makes learning about St. Boniface’s 6 churches and 4 cathedrals entertaining and fun. Learn all about the cathedrals built on the banks of the Red River as you follow your guide, Angélique Nolin, Western Canada’s first lay school teacher, as well as her foil, Fanal, the cemetery’s gravedigger. From Monseigneur Provencher’s modest chapel to renowned architect Étienne Gaboury’s modern cathedral, follow along as you see the rich history of a small colony that grew into a thriving metropolis.
